The New England Medical Equipment Dealers Association has generously donated to my Ms. Wheelchair America 2008 reign. I will be using this funding toward my appearance at the Rose Bowl in January.
The New England Medical Equipment Dealers Association (NEMED) is a regional association consisting of the six New England states. Founded in 1988, NEMED's broad membership works together supporting the common goals and interests of the Home Medical Equipment, Respiratory, and Assistive Technology industry.
Today, more than ever, it is imperative that medical equipment dealers stay current on government regulations and reimbursement guidelines set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). NEMED provides home care dealers and product manufacturers an opportunity to work together. By working closely with the American Associate for Homecare (AAHomecare), NEMED offers a powerful voice in Washington. Health care issues on the regional and state level are identified and addressed by NEMED's active committees.
