Saint Patrick's Day Breakfast and Parade

I attended the St. Pat's Breakfast and Parade today in my hometown of South Boston. Senator Jack Hart was the emcee, and did a great job as usual. Our other local politicians joined in the fun, too...
Congressman Stephen Lynch, Representative Brian Wallace, and City Councilman Michael Flaherty traded barbs...
Governor Deval Patrick chimed in on the casino issue in Massachusetts...Some local girls entertained the crowd with their Irish step dancing...I had the honor of meeting the Marines who served with fallen soldier Walter O'Haire, a native of South Boston. I thanked them for their brave service for America and their loyalty to their friend.

Then I enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out to ride in the parade. What a great day!
